Jim Hanosh, MD, FACS

Dr. Hanosh went to medical school at Creighton University. He completed a Residency in General Surgery at Kansas University School of Medicine in Wichita, Kansas in 1991 and a Fellowship in Trauma and Critical Care at the University of New Mexico in 1993. He is licensed by the state of Colorado and he is board certified in General Surgery and Critical Care. He is a member of the Mesa County Medical Society, the Colorado Medical Society and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Hanosh has been practicing in Western Colorado since 1997. He is a partner in the General Surgeons of Western Colorado division of CSA in Grand Junction.

Teyen Shiao, MD

Dr. Shiao graduated from University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and completed his Residency in General Surgery at Indiana University in 2008. He is licensed by the Colorado State Board and is certified by the American Board of Surgery. He has been practicing in Grand Junction as a partner in the General Surgeons of Western Colorado division of CSA since 2008.

Eric J. Hanly, MD FACS

Dr. Hanly attended medical school at Johns Hopkins University, did his general surgery residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, and did a fellowship in minimally invasive & bariatric surgery at Duke University. He served for five years in the U.S. Air Force, and has served on the surgical faculty at both the Uniformed Services University and Duke University. He is licensed in Colorado and is a Board Certified fellow by the American college of Surgeons. Dr. Hanly joined the General Surgeons of Western Colorado division of CSA in 2010.

Kasey Welsh, MD

A native of central California, Dr. Welsh completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University earning a degree in Linguistics. He continued his medical school studies at Tulane University. He completed his general surgery residency training at the University of Hawaii followed by a fellowship in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery at Duke University including a year of dedicated research in bariatric surgery outcomes. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and a member of the American College of Surgeon and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons. He has published multiple book chapters and peer-reviewed journal articles. He has clinical interests in minimally invasive surgical techniques, bariatric surgery, and surgical ethics.
